RS Components announced its DesignSpark engineering and maker community will be a gold level partner of Maker Faire UK 2018, which will take place at the Life Science Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne from 28-29 April. The event, held in Newcastle for over a decade, is the largest Maker Faire in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe and joins together more than 300 DIY technology enthusiasts in a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness. “Supporting makers and innovative creators from around the world is a really important part of what we do at RS to help inspire the engineers of tomorrow,” said Mike Bray, vice president of DesignSpark at RS. “Maker Faire UK is the ideal platform for us to engage with makers, to help them innovate and develop in whatever their field of interest.”
