JAE has developed the D-Sub type DA-15PF-N-ME, featuring electric shock prevention with a resin-insulated pin contact. It is available now from TTI Europe.
This device is compatible with IEC60601-1 3rd Edition clause 8.5.2.3, specific to medical devices. It is also compatible with existing socket contact type D-Sub connectors and designed with a unique structure originated by the company. Regarding the electrical performance of this product, it can be used safely, as same as the existing D-sub Series with proven results.
The operating temperature of the device is -55C to +105C. It is manufactured from copper alloy, with selected plating in the termination area.
