Low profile ultra-high density power supply offers high efficiency

Gresham Power Electronics has introduced its latest micro-footprint, an Ultra High Density (UHD) 225W output power supply the OF(M)225. This series of open frame switching power supplies uses a highly advanced circuit topology to deliver 225W with fan cooling and 120W convection cooled in an industry-standard package that has a 2" x 4" inch footprint while being just 1". high (50.8mm x 101.6mm x 25.4mm). The power supplies offer excellent power density of 28W/in³, high efficiency up to 94% typical and provide a universal AC input with active PFC. Output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 30, 48 and 56VDC are also available. All models offer an auxiliary output to power a cooling fan and a cover kit may be supplied to order, if required. The product range has been developed to meet the needs of LED lighting, medical, telecom and industrial applications.
