New AC/DC PSU solution optimised for medical applications

Ideal Power has introduced one of the latest products available through their alliance with manufacturers, P-Duke. With a compact profile of 5" x 3" x 1.58” (127mm x 76.2mm x 40.1mm), the 43MAH450US series has been created with the medical industry in mind – from diagnostic equipment, through to monitoring and home care equipment and even surgical apparatus – the device is the perfect solution to high powered medical applications. Offering solutions ranging from 12VDC to 53VDC with universal input and excellent efficiency ratings of between 91%-94%, helped by an ultra-low standby power of 0.5W, it a versatile solution. Offered with natural convection, conduction cooling and fan options the series provides up to 450W with forced air cooling. The unit can be supplied as an open frame or enclosed topology with fan supply outputs and optional variable fan speed control or with the option of having a top or side mounted fixed fan (enclosed type only) and Molex terminal connectors.
