Cat 6A connector ideal for extremely high-speed data applications

Cliff Electronics has launched a Cat 6A connector to its range of 24mm-diameter XLR Panel cut-out connectors. The widely used Cat 6 standard is an established standardised twisted pair cable and connector configuration for Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backwards compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. The new XLR format connector is offered with a black plastic flange or a robust cast aluminium version and can be obtained as a single connecter or pre-assembled in 1U, 19” rack panels with up to 16 XLR panel cut-outs providing systems integrators uncomplicated assembly, reducing manufacturing time, component count and cost.
