High-reliability circular connectors ideal for demanding industrial applications

Lane Electronics has available two series of high-reliability circular connectors manufactured by Weald Electronics and created to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-5015. The IP67 rated LMJ range of circular connectors is fully approved for use in defence, transportation and demanding industrial applications and is offered with aluminium alloy shells in 13 sizes. These connectors use a threaded coupling, a neoprene insert and provide an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C. Crimp, and PCB tail contacts are offered which the company Lane can with between one and 104 contacts. Providing a rated voltage range of 250VDC to 4200VDC and 200VAC to 3000VAC, the maximum current capability is from 10A to 150A depending on size. The connectors are available in different finishes, which includes RoHS and Cadmium-free, and can be supplied with PG cable gland fittings and 360-degree EMC screen termination. The MG Series MIL-DTL-5015 compliant connectors offer reverse bayonet coupling and have gained acceptance across many industrial and transport applications including railways. These circular connectors have rugged aluminium alloy shells with neoprene inserts and provide users with a quick, positive coupling with an audible sound that a full coupling has been achieved. They are water resistant to IP67 and have an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C.
