Microchip Technology MPLAB Snap In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer enables fast and easy debugging and programming of most PIC, AVR and SAM Flash MCUs and dsPIC DSCs, using the powerful graphical user interface of MPLAB X IDE, version 5.05 and later. The MPLAB Snap attaches to your computer via high-speed USB 2.0 interface and can be joined to the target via an 8-pin SIL connector. The connector has two device I/O pins and the reset line to implement in-circuit debugging and ICSP programming capability. The device offers all the speed and features entry-level users require to quickly debug their prototypes. The device provides a powerful 32-bit, 300MHz SAM E70 Arm Cortex-M7 based MCU, enabling quick debug iterations. As well as its support for a wide target voltage, the device supports advanced interfaces such as four-wire JTAG and Serial Wire Debug with streaming data gateway. The device is also backward compatible for demo boards, headers, and target systems using two-wire JTAG and ICSP.
