Rail cable assemblies are pre-assembled to help reduce installation time

TE Connectivity’s M12 rail cable assemblies fit heavy industrial applications. The cables are available now from TTI Europe. The cables are pre-assembled so customers can reduce installation time. With the ruggedised design and contacts, the cable can withstand severe shocks and vibrations according to EN 61373 Cat1 ClassB. They produce the best data speed possible up to 10Gb/s and feature compact straight and right angle connectors allowing the cable to be used in confined areas. The unique crimped cable strain relief stops conductor breakage and sequentially system failure. At the same time, the crimping system produces a tamper-proof installation, removing accidental opening of the connector. With its fire and smoke characteristics conforming to EN45545 HL3, this cable assembly can be employed in public transportation applications as well as additional industrial areas where fire and smoke compliancy is demanded.
