Analog Devices DC2616A-A Demonstration Board is intended to evaluate the performance of the LTM4645 Power µModule Regulator. The board includes Demonstration Circuit 2616A-A. The circuit features a polyphase design using the 25A high-efficiency LTM4645EY Switch Mode Step-Down Power µModule Regulator. To meet the operating specifications of the regulator, the board has a 6V to 15V input voltage range, an output voltage range of 0.6V to 1.8V, and produces a nominal 50A output current. Also, the board supports output current derating as needed for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. In heavy-load conditions, the board works in continuous conduction mode. For high-efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper chooses pulse-skipping mode for noise-sensitive applications or burst-mode operation in less noise-sensitive applications. The board's MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4645 to synchronise to an external clock signal. The phase shift between the two phases is 180-degrees. The board also provides the option of selecting both internal and external compensation circuit for the regulator.
