Silicon Labs AMW007-E04 Wireless Starter Kit provides an easy-to-use development platform to evaluate and develop applications based on the AMW007 Wi-Fi Module, using Gecko OS. The kit is available from Mouser. The module enables designers to rapidly embed Wi-Fi and secure networking functionality into practically any device. The easy-to-use board connects to a PC using a standard USB cable. Alternatively, the board can be connected to a Silicon Labs MCU Evaluation Kit using the EXP interface. Gecko OS is the connectivity operating system of choice for resource-constrained IoT devices. The OS speeds time-to-market by providing a common software foundation across multiple product lines. The kit has multiple uses including in the industrial, M2M, and home automation fields, which covers environmental and energy monitoring, wireless sensing, remote data logging, HVAC, power, light, thermostat control, and cameras, doors and window monitoring and more.
