Hot-swap compact power supplies ideal for a wide variety of applications

Powersolve’s new GFR1K5 series power supplies are 1U high, AC/DC single output units developed to provide up to 1500W. Operating from a wide 85VAC to 264VAC input voltage, there are four models in the series giving outputs of 12, 24, 48 or 56VDC, the latter being ideal for PoE applications. Featuring an excellent power density of 18W/in³ and a typical efficiency figure of 90%, the series is ideal for a high-performance power supply with many features designed to meet a wide variety of applications. All models have the same compact format and feature a hot-swappable 'Blind-Mate' capability for easiness of installation and replacement. The company can also supply a 1U rack capable holding up to four units for a total power output as high as 6kW. Operating temperature range is -20C to +70C with cooling by an internal, load-dependent variable speed fans. The units meet all relevant EMC and Safety approvals.
