The Cypress Semiconductor PSoC 4 (Programmable Embedded System-on-Chip) family, available now from RS Components, contains an ARM Cortex-M0 processor. Both product families use 4100 and the 4200 platform architecture featuring a combination of a microcontroller with op amps with Comparator mode, digital programmable logic, A/D converter as well as communication and timing devices. In the platform, the controllers are compatible with each other for designing and new applications.
The solution includes 32-bit MCU sub-system; 24MHz ARM Cortex-M0 CPU with single-cycle multiply (PSoC 4100 Family); 48MHz ARM Cortex-M0 CPU with single cycle multiply (PSoC 4200 family); with up to 32kB of flash with Read Accelerator; and up to 4kB of SRAM /SRAM+. The family is compatible with members of the PSoC 4 platform.
