The C&K KSC Series tactile switches have been designed for surface mount applications with a choice of either J or gull wing terminals. The switches are available now from RS Components.
Potential applications include automotive, cellular phones, industrial electronics, network infrastructure, IT and elevators. They are sealed to IP67 and have a single pole, normally open contact with a momentary action.
The working life is for one million cycles. The switch has a positive tactile feeling and is available in 1.6N and 3N actuator forces. The switch features long life Silver contacts with two Actuator lengths of 3.5mm and 5.2mm.
