Isolated DC-DC converter offers increased product reliability

The Murata NXJ2 series, available now from TTI Europe, is a new range of lower profile, fully automated manufacture surface mount DC-DC converters. The series automated manufacturing process with substrate embedded transformer, offers increased product reliability and repeatability of performance in a halogen-free, iLGA inspectable package, and industry standard footprint is compatible with existing designs. The series has an MSL rating 2 and is compatible with a peak reflow solder temperature of 260C as per J-STD-020. The patents pending device offers a lower profile with UL60950 Recognition pending; and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, 2 MOOP, 1MOPP recognition pending. The device includes short circuit protection and is halogen-free.
