Lane Electronics offers Positronic’s environmentally sealed D-Subminiature connectors intended for a broad range of applications where panel connections must be guarded against environmental conditions such as dust and water. The Positronic standard or high-density WD, WDD and EVD series are high reliability, IP67-rated D-subminiature connectors offered with various materials and finishes including aerospace approved electroless nickel, corrosion resistant Stainless Steel and RoHS compliant options. The WD and WDD connectors can be provided pre-wired to give a sealed, free cable connector option. There are ten connector variants – standard density 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 and high density 15, 26, 44, 62 and 78 contacts. According to the company these can be employed as a cable to cable or cable to a fixed connector system. The EVD standard density series is a cable connector which uses rear connector grommets to give a sealed connector for use with removable standard and thermocouple crimp contacts. The company provides the EVD series with five connector variants with 9 to 50 size 20 contacts.
