Small high performing power connectors for industrial applications

HIROSE has launched the EF1 series to meet the demand for smaller yet higher performing power connectors for industrial applications. The series comprises of a DIN rail mount type in-line receptacle and plug, and a panel mount type in-line receptacle and plug which both allow high power crimp contacts with the capacity to handle up to 160A current rating. The design enables the crimped cable to be inserted into the connector housing in a fast and user-friendly one-step process. The crimp contact can be simply terminated to the cable with a standard market commodity JIS C 9711 hand tool. The snap-in lock gives a positive tactile response to validate correct mating engagement and secure connection. The unique shape of the internal spring contact and contact points enables the optimum contact force to support a highly reliable stable connection. The connectors are suitable for power controllers, inverters, storage battery, medical devices, BTS and robot controller applications.
