New wire mount connectors offer connection reliability

Now stocked at TTI Europe are 3M’s Mini Clamp wire mount connectors. The components are created to provide connection reliability and cost performance in I/O applications generally found in a broad range of sensor control systems, including factory automation and industrial controls. The products use the advantage of the company‘s IDC technology which does not need any special tooling or pretreatment of cables and can be terminated using a standard pair of pliers. The devices benefit from a high number of mating cycles (300), a current rating of 3A. The design allows multiple wire diameters from 0.8mm up to 2mm. A transparent cover simplifies visual inspection.
