Safety approved power adaptors for mobile medical equipment

RS Components has introduced three new ranges of plug-in power adaptor ranges providing safety approvals to the latest international medical and healthcare standards. The MEAN WELL GSM60E and GEM60I adaptors are designed for use with home healthcare equipment, mobile medical equipment, and medical equipment that needs an interchangeable AC power supply for use in various parts of the world. Example applications include blood glucose meters, blood pressure meters, nebulisers, inhalers and sleep apnea devices. The adaptors accept AC input from 80VAC to 264VA and are available with 5, 7.5, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24 or 48VDC output. Rated output power ranges from 30W to 60W. Short circuit, overload and overvoltage protection are included.
