Texas Instruments TMUX6136 ±16.5V Dual SPDT Switches provides a CMOS analog output and contains two independently selectable SPDT switches. The device has an extremely low leakage current and charge injection, enabling them to be used in high-precision measurement applications. The devices provide a low supply current of 17µA allowing usage in portable applications.
The devices were designed to work with dual supplies (±5V to ±16.5V), a single supply (10V to 16.5V), or asymmetric supplies. TTL/ CMOS logic compatibility is assured through the digital select pin (SELx) that has TTL compatible thresholds. The device switches one of two inputs (Sx) to a common output (D), dependent on the status of the SELx pins. The switches conduct both well in either direction. In the ON position, the device supports input signal range up to the supplies. In the OFF position, the device signal levels up to the supplies are blocked. All switches exhibit BBM switching action.
Typical applications include Factory Automation and Industrial Process Controls, PLC, Analog Input Modules, ATE Test Equipment, Digital Multimeters, and Battery Monitoring Systems.
