New e-book dives deep into op-amps

03-01-2019 | Texas Instruments | Subs & Systems

Texas Instruments and Mouser have launched a new e-book dedicated to the versatility and design power of op-amps. In the e-book, titled 'Amplifier Solutions that Answer a Range of Design Needs', the companies' experts investigate the many uses for the chips in the analog signal chain. Op-amps are alive, well, and flourishing with ever-increasing performance and decreasing size, power, and cost. The devices are fundamental to every major market segment, from personal electronics, industrial, and communications equipment to enterprise systems and automotive applications. Whether engineers measure temperature, pressure, flow, or light, real-world monitor functions need the low-power precious of an op-amp. The new e-book investigates several important topics — comprising the benefits of zero-drift amplifiers, nanopower amplifiers in IoT applications, and Class D audio amplifiers in automotive infotainment systems — all providing key insights into the many types and uses of op-amps.
