Amphenol LTW’s X-Lok product series portfolio for signal, power and hybrid applications is now offered from TTI Europe. The series highlights a push lock mechanism, allowing blind mating for fast, simple and convenient installation, repair and maintenance in the field. The series satisfies the high standards needed for industrial connectors as devices are manufactured using UL94V-0 and UL-f1-rated material to give protection against UV exposure, as well as being IP68 rated to guard against jets of water and dust ingress.
Further ease-of-installation characteristics include an easy-grip design to stop the connector being accidentally dropped and verification of correct mating position with audible feedback. Seals of varying sizes can be simply identified as they are colour coded. The series is provided with a large assortment of receptacles and can support a broad range of wire and cables. Technical specifications include voltage rating of 300V AC/DC (power) and current rating of 20A. Contacts are silver-plated copper alloy. Temperature range is -40C to +105C.
Suitable applications for the series include industrial and factory automation, LED lighting, renewable energy, marine electronics, IP CCTV and security and rapid mass transport systems.
