Rugged diagnostic videoscope enables precise diagnosis in confined spaces

Conrad Business Supplies has added the Fluke DS703 FC high-definition diagnostic videoscope with Fluke Connect to its portfolio of test and measurement equipment. “When it comes to quality assurance in the production or inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment, it often happens that certain locations are difficult to reach, or even not accessible at all,” explains Markus Gebhard, senior director Purchasing Strategic Brands at Conrad Business Supplies. “To enable industrial users to cover such scenarios, we have added Fluke’s rugged diagnostic videoscope to our product range.” The device features a 17.8cm (7") capacitive touchscreen, created for harsh industrial environments. For hard-to-reach areas, a macro-to-micro zoom function assists users to obtain high-quality images. The adjustable LED illumination of the diagnostic videoscope is especially helpful. “With the DS703 FC videoscope probe, users can attach via WiFi images directly to plant and equipment data records or work orders using the Fluke Connect system, saving valuable time,” says Stefan Kohler, marketing manager, Fluke Germany. “To enable wireless image transmission, the device is equipped with a standard 802.11b/g/n wireless interface that can bridge distances up to 10m.” The 17.73cm x 22.48cm videoscope is powered by a Li-Ion battery (3.7V; 6,400mAh), which gives a runtime of three hours at 50% LED brightness. The full package comprises a probe, HDMI and USB cables, a power supply and a case from the manufacturer EVA Case.
