No compromise DC-DC converters for railway applications

Gresham Power Electronics has announced the availability of the Polytron extra wide input range DC-DC converters specifically designed for railway applications. These new products can accommodate a wide range of common battery and bus distribution voltages while operating with wide input voltage tolerances and fluctuations. The OFQC40 and OFQC60 Series 40W and 60W quarter-brick DC-DC converters feature a wide 12:1 input voltage range covering potential distribution voltages of 9-75VDC or 14V to 160VDC, according to the EN50155 standard. The wide input range enables the OFQC converters to support many different power systems within the railway environment.
