Varistor series eliminates need for extra heat sink or potting process

The Littelfuse HMOV Varistor series can operate at ambient temperatures up to 125C with 2500V isolation voltage. This high operating temperature enables it to reduce end-product production costs by removing the necessity for an extra heat sink or potting process. New silicone coating technology makes high temperature and isolation voltage operation possible. This series provides high surge current absorption of up to 10kA (8/20µs). Typical applications include solar power inverters, security systems, EV charging stations, power supply units (outdoor and industrial), automation control, LED lighting, and smart meters.
