New version of robust interconnectivity series for control panels and industrial applications

RS Components is shipping a new interconnectivity series from HARTING ideal for application in a range of industries and applications, including rail and transportation, and automation and robotics in plant machinery. The new Han-Eco B series of connector hoods and housings is a major addition to the manufacturer’s Han-Eco portfolio. The series has more than 100 robust devices that provide outstanding resistance in demanding industrial environments, as well as integrating the company’s Han-Eco ‘click and mate’ snap-in functionality for fast and easy assembly. The series provides sizes from 6B to 24B, and a variety of designs including bulkhead-mount, surface-mount and cable-to-cable types, as well as versions ideal for outdoor use. Devices also highlight a high-performance plastic construction that meets the EN 45545-2 and IEC 61948 standards, as well as providing IP65 protection and notable savings in weight compared to traditional metal housings.
