Switch module delivers a battery-free, wireless device

13-03-2019 | ZF Switches and Sensors | Subs & Systems

ZF Friedrichshafen AG offers what is claimed to be the world’s first battery-free, wireless light switch module based on KNX-RF technology. The module can be used as a light switch, with or without dimming function, and as a shutter switch. The wireless and battery-free features of the switch mean it is versatile and easy to integrate, allowing significant flexibility during the planning stages. The actuation of the unit delivers enough electrical energy to transmit a complete KNX-RF protocol in S-mode directly to any KNX-receiver. A low actuation force and low operational noise are extra key benefits of the module. Messezentrum, Salzburg from 13th-15th March 2019
