ProTek Devices offers a new series of AEC-Q101 qualified TVS arrays for circuit protection in consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, intelligent control systems and telecommunications applications. The new PAM37SDxxAL/CAL series is offered in multiple voltages. The TVS components are compatible with IEC standards 61000-4-2 (ESD): air ±15kV, contact ±8kV, 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A, 5/50ns, and with 61000-4-5 (surge): 8/20 microseconds waveform. They also provide 400W peak pulse power per line (typical = 10/1000 microseconds), low inductance and first-rate clamping capability. Also, the series provides unidirectional and bidirectional configuration options, low leakage current of <1 microampere (typical), fast response time and are also RoHS and REACH compliant. The series is now offered in the space-saving moulded SOD-123FL package with an estimated weight of just 0.0136g. Other key mechanical characteristics comprise lead-free pure-tin plating (annealed) and a solder reflow temperature (pure-tin - Sn, 100) of 260C-270C. The new TVS array series also has a flammability rating of UL 94V-0.
