Epoxy thermal conductive adhesive is ideal for bonding heat sinks and other heat-generating components

MG Chemical 8329TFM is a thermally conductive two-part epoxy adhesive. This product is available now from RS Components. The epoxy is thixotropic, dark grey, smooth, and bonds well to a broad range of substrates. This product is employed to bond LEDs, heat sinks, and other heat-generating components in electronic assemblies. It is ideal for use with dual-syringes, mix-tips, and automatic dispensing systems.

The adhesive offers a thermal conductivity of 1.1 W/(m·K) with a working life of 45 minutes. The cure time is 24 hours at room temperature or 2.5 hours at 65C (149F). The adhesive provides strong electrical insulation with excellent resistance to humidity, salt water, mild bases, and aliphatic hydrocarbons. This product has a shelf life of more than three years.
