Nicomatic has released its new range of DMM Micro D mixed signal connectors are now offered with single or two-piece backshells for 360-degree shielding and protection of the cable/connector interconnect. Further, the devices are offered on a six-to-eight week lead time, typically better than the industry standard 16-20 weeks.
The company's highly-reliable DMM connectors comply with MIL-DTL-83513G specifications though save space when compared to other Micro D connectors and allow a broad variety of configuration. The modular construction aids up to 10 million combinations of signal (LF), power (HP) and coax (HF) to be chosen. Based on a 2mm pitch, the family comprises board-to-board, board-to-wire and panel mount (1-4 contact rows). Maintenance is simple because contacts can be removed.

DMM MIL-DTL-83513G Micro D connectors are fabricated in rugged 6061 aluminium alloy.
