IP20 modular plug line brings reliable data connections to industrial environments

Stewart Connector, a Bel group company, has introduced a complete line of IP20 rated modular plugs complementing their existing standard RJ45 modular plugs.

The company's IP20 rated RJ45 modular plug line has been improved to bring reliable data connections to industrial environments at 1000Base-T through 10GBase-T transfer rates while supporting PoE applications. The modular plugs are created to be terminated to shielded or unshielded cable with solid or stranded conductors. Connector options are offered to suit a broad range of overall cable (0.230”-0.330”) and conductor diameters (0.033”-0.062”) found in harsh environments and industrial cables. The double clamping strain relief provides a robust connector to cable connection to support the conditions encountered in industrial environments.

Applications for the company's IP20 modular plug line comprise data, telecommunications and industrial equipment connections. The low-profile design of the modular plugs is ideal for high-density switches and routers as well as CAT5E through CAT6A premise networks. The plugs are installable in both field or factory environments.
