Miniature SMD test terminals deliver substantial savings over traditional devices

Nicomatic now offers a range of surface mount test terminals that can be used to connect a large range of test or oscilloscope probes to test zones on PCBs. Miniature C12000 series devices offer a mechanical test hook interface on the SMD PCB which allows the operator to add a test probe from a test rig or oscilloscope to the PCB.

Measuring only 2.5mm x 1.3mm x 1.5mm, the devices can be employed separately or by comparison with another. Compared to parts offered on the market, the test terminals provide a larger surface for efficient soldering onto PCBs. The devices are also less prone to oxidation due to pure tin bright tin plating with nickel under layer. Therefore, replicated testing can be securely performed, due to better material hardness.
