Texas Instruments BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS Gate Driver Evaluation Module is a 15A, three-phase brushless DC drive stage based on the DRV8320RS gate driver and CSD88599Q5DC NexFET power blocks. The module has individual DC bus and phase voltage sense, which makes it perfect for sensorless BLDC algorithms. The module supplies MCU 3.3V power with an integrated 0.6A step down buck regulator. The drive stage is completely protected with short circuit, shoot-through, thermal, and under-voltage protection and simply configurable via the devices SPI registers.
The module features 6V to 54V operation, with 15A continuous/20A peak H-bridge output current and external buck regulator. External current shunt amplifier with sensored or sensorless BLDC firmware available. The device offers an SPI interface for fault register readings and IDRIVE configurations.
