Energy harvesting BLE switch development kit for SIP

The ON Semiconductor Energy Harvesting Bluetooth Low Energy Switch is a comprehensive reference design for energy harvesting applications comprising lighting, door and window control, and step counters. The kit is available now from RS Components. Offering the RSL10 SIP and high-efficiency harvester switch from ZF Electronic, the battery-less switch provides the low power consumption and is completely self-powered. Utilising the provided firmware and RSL10 SDK, the battery-less switch is readily customizable.

The kit offers 2Mbps data rates (Bluetooth 5); 62.5nW power consumption in Deep Sleep Mode, 7mW in Peak Receiving. The kit is easily connected to a standard BLE scanner or mobile/lighting applications (IoS and Android). The kit offers 25% reduced BOM.
