Evaluation module provides an interface adapter between a PC and interface slave device

Texas Instruments DPS-DONGLE-EVM Evaluation Module is an interface adapter between a PC and a high-speed interface slave device. Communication between the PC and the interface adapter’s MSP430F5529 MCU is achieved via a standard USB-to-mini USB cable. The MCU then communicates to the slave device through the SMBus or SPI interface.

The EVM is designed specifically for use with the SigCon Architect GUI and supports SMBus or SPI interfaces. No external power source is needed. The device offers a 3.3V optional output.

Included in the kit is the DPS-DONGLE-EVM evaluation module, 6' USB A/M - mini USB Cable and five male-to-female jumper wires.
