MLCCs offer high reliability and long endurance

Yageo automotive-grade MLCC – AC series, available now from TTI Europe, is AEC-Q200 qualified as well as MIL-STD-020D test to assure its reliability under multiple temperatures (from -55C to +125C), humidity (1,000 hours, 85C/85% RH) conditions and still maintain long endurance. The new ranges incorporate both class I NPO and class II X7R and X8R up to 4.7 micro farad capacitance, and 6.3V to 630V rated voltage with case sizes from 0201 to 1812 (inch).

These capacitors comprise a rectangular block of ceramic dielectric in which various interleaved metal electrodes are included. The inner electrodes are connected to the two end terminations and covered with a layer of plated tin. The terminations are lead-free, and all capacitors in the AC series are RoHS compliant.

Typical applications include infotainment, telematics, security, lighting, navigation, and comfort.
