Crimp D-sub connectors offer quick and simple solderless connection

The TE Connectivity 109 Series provides a 2.77mm pitch Crimp D-sub Connector, with female socket and 15 Pins. The connector series is available now from RS Components. The connector is constructed from stainless steel and offers a current rating of 7.5A. The connector measure 39.14mm x 12.55mm x 10.9mm. The operating temperature ranges from -55C to 125C.

These crimp D-sub connectors can be used to attach several wires to a single receptive connector. You user can also employ them to connect large cables to standard wire receptive connectors. These connectors have two parts (male and female) that fit together. This means they bypass the requirement for soldering equipment. The wire or wires are simply inserted when the user wants to connect into the connector. Squeeze the metal case surrounding the wires to secure them in position.
