Isolated DC-DC converter focuses on combining cost efficiency and quality

The Traco Power THL 15WI series is the latest addition to the company's existing 15W DC-DC converter range. This range is available now from RS Components. With the focus on combining cost efficiency and quality, this converter is ideal for many different applications. The series is supplied in an encapsulated, shielded 1” x 1” x 0.4” metal package and offers a fully integrated class A filter. High efficiency up to 91% allows the converter to operate from –40C to +70C without derating. All models provide an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and precisely regulated isolated outputs.

The series is ideal for employment in mobile equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics and wherever where cost efficiency and quality are crucial factors.

The device offers protection against overload, overvoltage and short circuit, with remote On/Off and trim function. There is also an optional heatsink for increased temperature capabilities. The company provide a three-year product warranty with this product.
