Bulgin's 4000 Series Buccaneer is a compact and versatile circular connector. The connector series is available now from RS Components. With a robust Valox PC/PBT construction and quick-turn bayonet coupling mechanism, this series is ideal for applications over a broad variety of markets demanding fast, dustproof and watertight power connections.

Rated to IP66, IP67, IP68 & IP69K standards, the series is particularly suited to system designs in harsh environments where space is limited, and an environmentally-sealed interconnect solution with high-performance features is needed.

The series brings high power and data in a compact form factor. Its small and impressive characteristics also make it excellent for power and data applications.

The series offers 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 pole configuration with power ratings up to 13A, 600V. It accepts a cable range from 3mm to 7mm and diameter over coupling ring 19.7mm. The connectors are offered in flex, flex in-line, rear panel and PCB mounting body styles with colour coded O-rings and washers for easy identification purposes.
