Skyworks has released the SKY66118-11 and the SKY66407-11, 2.4 GHz front-end modules (FEMs) for Bluetooth IoT applications incorporating smartwatches, trackers, connected home systems, wireless and gaming headsets and more.
These low power solutions significantly increase range (more than 2X) in comparison to standalone SoC implementations, and efficiently produce more power to the antenna, thereby reducing or potentially excluding any needed antenna matching network. The FEMs also integrate power amplifier output matching, harmonic filtering, and bypass path switching, which facilitate flexible and innovative end product designs for space-constrained IoT applications.
