Cable socket connector kits offers industry-standard high reliability

Harwin Datamate J-Tek Off The Shelf low-frequency cable socket connector kits, available now from RS Components, have a compact 2mm pitch design that provides industry-standard high reliability. These cable sockets are designed for defence, aerospace and high-end applications and are internationally employed in COTS programs. The housings of these cable sockets are fully shrouded for contact protection and incorporate polarisation features to stop mismating.

These connectors have crimp contacts made from beryllium copper with a four-finger design making them able to withstand extreme temperature ranges and high vibration and shock. Each connector kit comprises of a housing with jackscrews fitted and loose crimp contacts that are rear insertable.

Part numbers M80-460-xxxx are provided with slotted jackscrews and have a large bore for a 22AWG wire

Part numbers M80-461-xxxx are supplied with jackscrews and have a small bore for a 24-28AWG wire

Part numbers M80-466-xxxx and M80-486-xxxx are designed with a extended rear wall 5mm in depth which allows back potting to take place. M80-466-xxxx is supplied with jackscrews and has a small bore for a 24-28AWG wire, M80-486-xxxx is supplied with hex jackscrews and has a small bore for a 24-28 AWG wire.

These connrectors are approved to BS9525-F0033 & CECC-75101-008.
