Texas Instruments DLP230NP DLP 0.23 1080p Digital Micromirror Device is a digitally controlled micro-opto-electromechanical system spatial light modulator. The DMD displays a crisp and high-quality 1080p image or video when linked to an appropriate optical system.

The device comprises of the DLPC3436 controller and chipset. The DLPA2000, DLPA2005, and DLPA3000 PMIC/LED drivers also support this chipset. The compact physical size of the device pertains to portable equipment where small form factor, high image quality, and low power are essential.
