Magnetic field tester for checking relays and solenoid valves

The Martindale NC1 Magnetic Field Indicator, available now from RS Components, is a non-contact magnetic field tester for examining the operation of relays and solenoid valves in an extensive range of machinery. The device saves time by providing testing of solenoids without dismantling the equipment or control panel.

A bright yellow LED illuminates the clear tip of the tester, and a buzzer sounds when a magnetic field is identified.

Applications incorporate troubleshooting and servicing of control equipment in process industries, energy, transportation and pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.

The ergonomic pen shape with clip makes it excellent for carrying in a pocket or toolbelt, and a built-in torch in the tip enables usage in low light areas. Other features on the device include low battery indication and auto power off.
