Arrow Electronics offers the full range of R3 Communications’ ECHORING wireless networking products in EMEA. The products support ultra-reliable, low-latency wireless M2M communications that provide similar performance to current wired systems.
The solution is fr companies seeking to use IIOT or Industry 4.0 solutions who require wireless networks matching the performance and reliability of existing wired control networks. R3’s product provides real-time performance levels with latency down to only 1ms, even in tough industrial environments.
The solution employs a radio technology, providing deterministic access, coupled with extensive cooperation to support reliability levels up to SIL 3. It can be combined with existing industrial hardware and software, serving to preserve previous investments in equipment. The security is powered by Olympus Sky, a company that provides low cost, low complexity defence-grade security.
The company will also be offering a starter kit that enables users to test ECHORING’s performance in their own production environment by exchanging the kit’s wireless stations for existing Ethernet connections.
