Breakout board microcontroller is an easy-to-use reference design platform

Cypress Semiconductor MagSense Inductive-Sensing Coil Breakout Board Microcontroller Evaluation Kit is designed as an easy-to-use reference design platform. The board is purpose-built to be compatible with the CY8CKIT-148 PSoC 4700S Inductive Sensing Evaluation Kit, where MagSense Inductive Sensing with various coils can be evaluated. The board features 16 total inductive sensing coils which demonstrate different performance characteristics.

The platform provides proximity and touch detection using a single sensor; rotation angle detection with a rotary encoder; linear position encoding with two 100x8 linear encoder coils; and horizontal gesture detection with a six-segment sensor array.
