IP68 polycarbonate enclosure is ideal for mounting PCBs

The Hammond 1557DA2BK, a IP68-rated polycarbonate enclosure, available now from RS Components, is ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. It can be employed either in a tabletop configuration or two separate wall-mount configurations. The enclosure has rounded corners and face which provide it with a more modern look. It has excellent water-tight ratings. It is provided with a gasketed lid with two-piece tongue and groove construction. This gives protection against access of oil, dust and water. The gasket is one piece made from high temperature, U.L. listed silicone.

The enclosure measures 45mm H x 120mm W x 120mm D and is suitable for both indoor and Outdoor use. Stainless steel hardware to used to avoid corrosion caused by dissimilar metals.
