OKW Enclosure’s EVOTEC designer table-top electronic enclosures are now offered in a smaller 80 size – extending the series to five plan sizes.
The soft-contoured enclosure is elegant and ergonomic but robust enough for tough working environments. Applications incorporate measurement and control, IoT/IIoT, gateways, IT, medical, laboratory and environmental technology.
At 80mm x 50 mm, the new enclosure is the smallest plan size in the series. It has a large flat (non-recessed) top for switches, pushbuttons and touch displays. Four larger plan sizes are offered: 100 (100mm x 62mm), 150 (150mm x 93mm), 200 (200mm x 124mm) and 250 (250mm x 155mm).
The enclosure is also offered with a 12-degree inclined top (either recessed or non-recessed) that provides an excellent viewing angle for desktop use. These sloping top versions are offered in two plan sizes: 200 and 250.
All of these enclosures have screw pillars in the top and base for installing PCBs. Self-adhesive rubber feet assure stability on flat surfaces. The enclosures are constructed using Torx assembly screws to prevent tampering (perfect for medical electronics).
The series' soft contours are moulded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) in off-white (RAL 9002) as standard.
Accessories comprise an optional IP 65 seal, wall suspension elements, a fastening element for DIN rails, self-tapping screws (PZ1 and Torx T8) and a Torx T8 screwdriver.
