Distance-settable photoelectric sensor for use with any type of conveyed workpiece

The Omron E3AS-L Photoelectric Sensor Reflective offers a wide sensing distance of 50mm to 1,500mm, allowing use on any conveyor line width. These TOF-type sensors can be employed with any type of conveyed workpiece. The compact-sized body can be mounted anywhere. The teaching method permits anyone to set optimal threshold values.

The devices are manufactured using the company's proprietary laser sealing method. Antifouling coatings lessen the cleaning frequency on the sensing surface. An IO-Link decreases the time required for startups and changeovers and equipped with the company's proprietary light-emitting element for stable detection of low-reflective workpieces.

The device has an IP Rating IP67, IP67G, IP69K and housed in a stainless steel body. The response time is 1ms and a maximum operating temperature of +55C and minimum operating temperature -25C.
