Embedded SMPS meets approval for medical applications

The Cosel, 600W Embedded SMPS, 5VDC is an enclosed, medical approved switch-mode power supply. The device is available now from RS Components. The rated Input is 85-264VAC 1Phi and rated output wattage of 600W. The device is provided with a warranty period of five years.

The device offers a low profile of 41mm, (1.61") meeting 1U height. The device satisfies standards for medical electric equipment covering ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, EN60601-1 3rd, IEC60601-1-2 4th Ed.

The output voltage can be varied to near 0V and offers various alarms, and parallel operation is possible. The device monitoring function by communication and various setting values can be changed.
