Female panel mount IP68 RJ45 receptacle for harsh environments

Designed by Amphenol Socapexis, the reduced Flange Ethernet connection system for harsh environments. the device is now offered by RS Components. The receptacle is smaller and lighter, derived from standard RJF TV. The device is excellent for applications where small dimensions and lower weight are critical in harsh environments. The receptacle is offered in Cat5.e, Cat.6 and Cat6A.

With the patented RJStop system the user can employ a standard RJ45 cordset in a metallic plug which will protect it from shocks, dust and fluids giving no hazardous on-field cabling and grounding.

Sealed against fluids and dust is IP68 compliant. The device provides improved EMI protection. The tri start thread coupling mechanism (MIl-DTL-38999 series III type) offers an anti-decoupling device in shell size 19, with mating cycles of 500 minimum.
