Isolated single output converters offer increased product reliability

The NXJ2 series from Murata is a leading-edge, high insulation class, ultra-low profile 2W surface mount DC-DC converter. The device is available now from TTI Europe. The series has a fully automated manufacturing process with substrate Embedded Transformer, offering increased product reliability and repeatability of performance in a halogen-free, iLGA inspectable package.

The series, with its ultra-low isolation capacitance, is an excellent choice for gate drive and medical applications where low capacitance is application critical to reducing noise and leakage current.

The series is compatible with a peak reflow solder temperature of 260C as per J-STD-020, for high speed automated manufacturing processes.

The device has a wide range of application fields including motor control, solar inverters, automotive power inverters, EV charging, telehealth and remote health monitoring systems, infusion pumps, CPAP machines, X-ray equipment, robotics, ultrasound equipment, medical equipment patient connection isolation, and LED lighting controls.
